Graduate Certificate in Human Resources
This certificate is designed to develop professionals in human resources who wish to broaden their conceptual knowledge, skills and abilities in the field.
Human Resources Certificate Overview
The Graduate Certificate in Human Resources delves into topics such as career management, conflict and negotiation, leadership and talent management. Learn how you can use your skills in nonprofit, business, medical or education settings. Individuals working in non-human resources departments who wish to increase their knowledge of human resources may benefit as well.
As a student, you will:
- Complete three foundation courses and two electives.
- Update and enhance your HR and training related skills.
- Complete an advanced level certificate to add to your resume.
*Certificate-only students are not eligible for financial aid nor are students taking the course after completion of a degree program.
**Eligibility for the masters’ level certificate is granted to students who meet graduate program admission standards.
***Students who wish to pursue a Master of Science in Human Resources, a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, or a Master of Health Administration may use the credits in this certificate program toward the master's degree requirements.

- 2.75 grade point average (GPA)
- Official transcripts from all regionally accredited institutions where baccalaureate and/or post-baccalaureate coursework was completed or attempted
Only credits from regionally accredited institutions may be accepted in transfer. Failure to report any previous academic work at another college or university may be considered a violation of academic integrity.
